Marcia (West) Goodman, 72, Lakeway, Texas, died May 7, 2001, with her husband, son and daughter at her side.

Formerly of South Bend, Ind., Mrs. Goodman retired here six years ago with her husband of 46 years, Charles T. Goodman Sr. Mrs. Goodman was born in South Bend on June 17, 1928, to Harold and Martha West.

She attended Purdue University where she was a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority, was a member of the Greene Township Homemakers Club in South Bend, and retired from the South Bend School Corporation. She was a member of the Central Christian Church/Disciples of Christ in Austin, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her oldest son, David W. Bellows; and by her parents, Harold and Martha West. She is survived by her husband, Charles; her son, James Bellows and wife, Julie of Indianapolis, Ind.; her son, Charles T. Goodman Jr. and wife, Camille; her daughter, Nancy Goodman-Gill and husband, Robert Gill; and by four grandchildren, Seth and Eliot Goodman, and Lindsey and Madison Gill, all of Austin. She is also survived by her brother, Marvin “Butch” West and wife, Janet of Indianapolis; her brother-in-law, William O. Goodman of Austin; and by her brother and sister-in-law, John and Betty Goodman of South Bend.

Interment services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 15, at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka, Ind., with John H. Goodman, Marvin W. West and Rev. Daniel Thornhill officiating.

All Faith Funeral Service-South, Austin, is handling arrangements.
