ANDERSON, Ind. — Frank Joseph Wulf, 82, of Anderson, died Jan. 21, 2011, at Saint John's Medical Center following a sudden illness.

He was born Jan. 24, 1928, in South Bend, to Frank and Treva (Ham) Wulf.

He was director of labor relations and later assistant personnel director for Delco Remy for 34 years before retiring in 1987.

Frank was an U.S. Army veteran serving in Japan following World War II and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He served as president of Salvation Army, board member for Templeton Coal Co., Inc., volunteered for the Madison County United Way, Anderson Rotary Club, 32nd Degree of the Scottish Rite, President of Theta Chi Fraternity at Indiana University, and a longtime member of Anderson and Edgewood Country Clubs. Most notably, he quietly served many individual members of our community.

Frank is survived by his wife, Marilyn (Anstead) Wulf whom he married June 27, 1953, in Sullivan; four children, David (Marylou) Wulf of Terre Haute, Ann (Darrell) Leibson of Cincinnati, Susan (Doug) Hawes of Fishers, and Jill (Mike) Johnson of Fishers; grandchildren, Jennifer, Brian, Caitlin Wulf, Charles Leibson, Rachel, Alison, Hannah Hawes and Audrey Johnson; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Norma (Joseph) Libke.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Ed Wulf; and his two sisters, Mary Wiseman and Lillian Hoffman.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at First Presbyterian Church with Pastors Ryan Rasmussen and Donna Madewell officiating. Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
