Joyce M Liebig (Argue) - Class Of 1948 VIEW PROFILE

Joyce M Liebig (Argue)

Joyce M. (Liebig) Argue, 91, of Manchester, died peacefully on November 7, 2021.

Born in Detroit, MI on October 16, 1930, Joyce was the daughter of the late Walter Waller Liebig and Florence (Obrecht) Liebig. Along with her late brother Beverly, Joyce attended and graduated from John Adams High School in South Bend, IN and she later attended South Bend College of Commerce to learn administrative skills which she used when she was a secretary at Studebaker.

In 1954, Joyce married William F. Argue, her beloved husband of 57 years. After graduating from dental school, Bill served in the United States Navy which brought the couple to St. Louis, MO, China Lake, CA, and Pearl Harbor, HI. Returning to Bill's home state to raise their family and establish a dental practice finally enabled the Argues to take root in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Joyce dedicated her life to raising her six children and providing a loving home where everyone felt welcome. Joyce created a household with endless love, laughter and creativity. A petite and fearless power house, Joyce knew how to balance a checkbook, collect the rent, tackle household repairs, scare away pests, and maintain a busy and productive schedule. Her family remembers her sewing outfits, making patchwork quilts, and poking around in the yard at the family's summer house on Crystal Lake GIW. Although naturally quiet and very sweet, Joyce enjoyed being silly, wearing festive clothes, decorating for holidays, and sharing a laugh. She loved to go bowling, play tennis, spend time at bridge club, create ceramic items, garden, read, bake, and play the piano. Most of all, Joyce enjoyed spending time with her beloved family. She is fondly remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Joyce's family includes her children; Sandra Cotton and husband William of Manchester, Cheryl Rydin of Rochester, Brian Argue and wife Sue of Wolfeboro, William Argue of Manchester, Sue Argue Raymond of Manchester, and Megan Diaz and husband Roberto of Manchester; fourteen grandchildren, Julie and Tyler Cotton, Jasmine Gosselin and husband Chris, Derek Rydin and wife Erin, Patrick Rydin, Birkley and Alea "Yaya" Argue, Mary Gifford, Seth and Aislinn Raymond, and Bella, Sophia and Talia Diaz; great grandchildren Taylor Rydin, Olivia and Gabby Gosselin; and many nieces and nephews.

We love you Minnie and will miss you greatly.
