Carolyn Ann Meyer

MISHAWAKA - Carolyn Ann Meyer, 64, of 5520 Bittersweet Road, died after an illness at 6:15 a.m. today in her home.

Mrs. Meyer retired from Mishawaka School City in 1994 as a teacher at Twin Branch Elementary School. She was born Sept. 9, 1931, in Peru, Ind., and lived in Mishawaka most of her life.

On June 5, 1953, in South Bend, Carolyn Ann Anderson, she married William Henry Meyer. He died Sept. 6, 1970. She is survived by a daughter, Lucretia Anne Meyer of Mishawaka; a son, Thomas W. of Bristol; four grandchildren; and a brother, Rev. Richard Anderson of Palestine, Ind. She was a member of St. Mark's Missionary Church.

Services will be Sunday in the church. Burial will be in Mud Creek Cemetery, Rochester. Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday in Hollis-Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home and one hour before services on Sunday in the church.
