Miss Canter was a graduate of John Adams High School, attended St. Mary's College, and received her Bachelor of Music degree at the Chicago Musical College. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Canter of Los Angeles, Calif., formerly of South Bend, Ind. She married Solomon Goldberg on February 14, 1954 in California.
Harpsichordist, teacher, founder of Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra and MusicSources, and a founding member of the San Francisco Early Music Society (SFEMS).
She was a leader in Baroque music education and performance in the San Francisco Bay Area.
