SOUTH BEND -- Dennis L. Kunce, 73, of Indianapolis, formerly of South Bend, died Thursday in St. Vincent Hospice, Indianapolis.

Survivors include his wife, Marilyn (Lampson); three daughters, Pam Mihankhah of New Castle, Ind., Jenny Marten of Carmel, Ind., and Laura Miedema of Fishers, Ind., and a sister, Doris Asper of Grand Rapids.

Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday in Harry Moore Family Mortuary, Indianapolis, where friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday.

INDIANAPOLIS -- Marilyn and Dennis Kunce of Indianapolis celebrated their 50th anniversary with an open house Jan. 4 at the home of their daughter, Jennifer Martens of Carmel.
 
Mr. Kunce and Marilyn Lampson married Dec. 29, 1952, at the Naval Chapel, San Diego. They also have two other daughters, Pamela Mihankhah of New Castle, Ind., and Laura Miedema of Fishers, Ind. They have seven grandchildren.
 
Mr. Kunce retired in 1989 after 32 years with South Bend Community School Corp., where he was a teacher and a principal.
 
Mrs. Kunce retired in 1985 after 20 years with SBCSC, where she was a teacher.
 
They lived in South Bend for more than 50 years.
