Bernard Walter Kruyer

KRUYER Bernard 'Bob' Walter Kruyer passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2011. He was born in Long Beach, California on December 24, 1926 to Walter Bernard and Alta Powell Kruyer.

He gave his country 26 years active duty military service, in the U. S. Marine Corps and U. S. Air Force. He is a veteran of World War II, the Korean War and the Viet Nam War. Bob has been a resident of Corpus Christi for the past 20 years.

Bob leaves his family to cherish his memories: his loving wife of the last 18 years, Betty Kruyer; one son, Bill (Evi) Kruyer; one daughter, Sheri (Roger) Best; one sister, Jennie Sakowicz; four grandchildren: Teri (Steven) Wesson, David Kruyer, Ryan Best and Rob Best; and one great granddaughter, Jill Wesson.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at 11:00 a.m., at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
