Miss Marjorie Ann Lubbers, 37, of 333 N. Sunnyside  Ave., died at 8:55 a.m. today in St. Joseph’s Hospital after an illness of three months. She was a member of the firm of Reco Sporting Goods, owned by her father.

She was born Sept. 1, 1929, in Springfield, Ohio, and lived here 36 years. She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William A. Lubbers, South Bend; and her twin sister, Miss Frances, and two other sisters, Mrs. Gerald A. Hickey and Miss Elaine V., all of South Bend.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday at the Hickey Funeral Home. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Rev. Joseph F. Murphy, C.S.C., pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park.

She was a member of the Service Guild of South Bend, the Christ Child Society and the Altar Society of St. Joseph’s Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph’s Hospital or to the Logan School for the Retarded.
