DANIELLE SCHREINER-MILLER 

DANIELLE SCHREINER-MILLER, 41, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 21, 2014, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born in Indianapo lis, Ind., Danielle was raised in South Bend, Ind. and graduated from John Adams High School in 1991. She graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Social Work and began her career in Indianapolis.

She lived in Indianapolis for 11 years before spending two years in Northern California. She had lived in Fort Wayne since 2008. Danielle most recently worked as a youth program director with Center for Nonviolence of Fort Wayne.

Danielle loved her family above all else. Though she was lovingly teased for being a "helicopter mom," Danielle instilled strong values in both of her children and was their biggest fan as they were hers. In addition, she enjoyed spending time with friends, scrapbooking and crafting, music, singing and recently performing in local productions. She turned her passion for crafting into her own business, Petite Personalities, selling hair bows, crafted picture frames and other items online and through vendor shows.

Surviving are her father and stepmother, Rae and Cynthia Schreiner of South Bend, Ind.; son, Tyson Zane Miller of Fort Wayne; daughter, Sidney Nicole Miller (former husband Donnell Miller) of Fort Wayne; brother, David Schreiner of Chandler, Ariz and his daughter, Bobbijo Danielle and son, Casey; brother, Andrew (Kirsten) Schreiner of South Bend, Ind. and his daughter, Camryn Danielle; sister, Jacqueline (Scott) DeRosa of Greenwood, Ind. and her son, Charlie and daughter, Alice; and a host of loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Julie Jones.

Service is 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 29, 2014, at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior. Pastor Duane Burris officiating. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014, at the funeral home. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Memorials may be made to the Center for Nonviolence, the American Cancer Society, Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana, or any organization supporting the fight against cancer.
