Osceola-Dorothy Lucille De Keglaer, 93, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 17, 2016 in The Hearth at Juday Creek in Granger.

Dorothy was born on April 16, 1923 in South Bend as the daughter of Charles and Sophie (Kwasneski) Cinkoske. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Joann Staszewski.

On June 14, 1975 in South Bend she married Camiel De Keglaer; they renewed their wedding vows on August 28, 2004. Camiel preceded her in death on December 28, 2005.

Surviving are her step children, Paul De Keglaer of South Bend and Pam (Paul) Yorke of Batavia, IL; step grandchildren, Emily and Kyle Yorke. Also surviving are Joe (Kim) Makowski and their children, Ben and Haley whom she considered to be her children and special grandchildren.

Dorothy loved square dancing. She was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Busy Widows, and Jubilee Association. She was a past president of First Source Women’s, St. Matthew and St. Joseph Golf leagues. Dorothy was also a member of America Saddle Horse, she showed horses throughout the Midwest States.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, November 22 at 10:30 a.m. with visitation one hour prior in Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Hahn Funeral Home, Mishawaka has been entrusted with handling the final arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 4508 Vistula Rd., Mishawaka, IN 46544.
