ELKHART - Raymond L. Cox, 75, of Elkhart, died on Thursday, May 21, 2015, in the emergency room of Elkhart General Hospital. Mr. Cox was born on November 7, 1939, in Napanee, to the late Everett and Dervere (Heffner) Cox.

On February 10, 1966, in Mishawaka, Indiana, he married Annette Rossner Cox; she survives in Elkhart. Raymond proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a tool and die maker; he worked for Torrington in South Bend and Bock Industries in Elkhart. He loved hunting and fishing.

Surviving are his wife, Annette, one son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Debra Cox of Elkhart, one daughter, Leigh Howard of Elkhart, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Also surviving are three brothers, Dennis Cox Sr. of Granger, Wesley Cox of South Bend and Leslie Cox of Knox. He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Kiley Cox, and one brother, Carl Cox.

Cremation will take place. No funeral or memorial services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be directed to the family to assist in medical expenses.
