SOUTH BEND - Lynette Fisher Krantz, 72, entered into eternal rest in Charleston, SC on December 24, 2011 on what would have been her 52nd wedding anniversary. She was born in South Bend on September 7, 1939 to Carl A. and Ruth (Greenwood) Fisher. Lynette was a graduate of John Adams High School and the Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, FL, where she met her future husband, John KrantzLynette and John were married in South Bend on December 24, 1959.

She is survived by two sons, Byron William Krantz (Kim) of Johns Island, SC and Shawn Rene Krantz (Angela) of Charleston; one brother, Carl A. Fisher (Kiki) of South Bend; and three granddaughters, Kala and Charity Krantz of Walterboro, SC and Skyler Krantz of Charleston. Lynette was predeceased by her husband John (January 2006), her parents and her sister Karin Fisher Kos.

She was noted as an accomplished artist in the Lowcountry, where her artwork was displayed in private galleries and Lowcountry establishments and known for her hobby of creating elaborate dollhouses filled with miniatures.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services at graveside in Bethany Cemetery on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 11:00 am. J. Henry Stuhr Inc., 232 Calhoun Street, Charleston, SC 29401 is entrusted with the arrangements.

Memorials may be made to St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, 405 King Street, Charleston, SC 29403; to Pet Helpers, 1447 Folly Road, Charleston, SC 29412; or to the Charleston Animal Society, 2455 Remount Road, Charleston, SC 29406.
