Phyllis J. Hamel

Phyllis J. Hamel passed away peacefully at her home on February 17, 2022 at the age of 85. She was born in South Bend, IN on March 20, 1936, to the late David S. and Alberta (Fischer) Stouffer.

Surviving Phyllis is her husband of almost 67 years, William; sons, Kevin (Maureen), Kenneth, and Robert (Cheryl) Hamel; brothers, Roger, John (Sandi), and Tracy Stouffer; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Joann Baumgardner; and brother, William Stouffer.

Phyllis loved her family and was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She owned an upholstery business and only served her clients with the highest quality of workmanship.

A private Mass of Christian Burial will take place at a future date.
