Edward L. Struck
Edward Louis Struck was born to Freda (Paulus) and Stanley Struck in South Bend, Indiana on September 20, 1935.
Ed was a graduate of John Adams High School and enlisted in the United States Army having served in Germany. He also graduated from Indiana State University with a B.S. in Chemistry. He worked as a chemist with Swift for over 20 years where he also trained other locations due to his knowledge and excellence in the field.
Ed resided in Illinois for most of his life but returned to Indiana in 2016 to live with his sister, where he remained until his passing.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Joanne Crawford, and his brother, Frank Struck. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his sister, Judith Rutkowski of South Bend; his brother, Noel (Janice) Struck of Coolidge, Arizona; and other extended family members.
Funeral Services for Edward with military honors will be privately held at Palmer Funeral Home – Hickey Chapel 17131 Cleveland Rd. South Bend, Indiana 46635. Online condolences may be left at www.palmerfuneralhomes.com
