Daniel Edward Neddo, 61 passed from this life into the arms of Jesus on October 23,2021. Dan was born on August 23, 1960 in South Bend, Indiana to James and Gloria Neddo who survives. He is also survived by his two children, Ryan and Saerah, two grandchildren Phoenix and Virgil, two sisters Deborah Divine and Dawn (Iver) Runeman, several nieces and nephews, a favorite aunt, Jan Padgett and an ex brother in law and friend Dick Divine.

Dan was a 1978 graduate of John Adams High School where he excelled in playing the Trombone for the marching band, concert band, orchestra and jazz band. He won many state awards for his participation in various ensembles. He enjoyed all genres of music.

His hobbies included fishing, weight lifting and football growing up. He had a great love for dogs and had several pets over the years, his favorite being his last dog and faithful companion, a Pitbull named Copper.

In 1980 Dan enlisted in the United States Air Force where he proudly served for 20 years. Throughout his career, Danno as he was known by his friends was stationed at Davis Monthan Air Force Base Tucson, AZ and Moody Air Force Base Valdosta, GA.

His overseas tours took him to Bahrain in the Persian Gulf and Osan Air Base in South Korea. He returned to the United States and retired from Edwards Air Force Base in California.

While in the Air Force, Dan took an interest in the martial arts learning Karate and Hapkido. He used those skill he learned to begin his business as a self defense instructor with the Self Defense Company. He enjoyed teaching the young and old alike how to defend themselves.

A Celebration of Life/Memorial Service will be held at 11 am on November 20, 2021 at the VFW, 1307 E. Jefferson Blvd., Mishawaka, IN. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer Association or to Pet Refuge because of his lifelong love for his pets.
