SANDRA (DAVIS) MONAHON

June 6, 1954 - March 22, 2013 SOUTH BEND - Sandra "Sandy" G. Monahon, 58, of South Bend, passed away Friday, March 22, 2013, in Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center. Sandy was born June 6, 1954, in South Bend, to the late Robert and Ruth (Rothermel) Davis Sr.

She was also preceded in death by her brother, Robert Davis Jr.

Sandy was a 1973 graduate of Adams High School.

She had worked at Big Bear Restaurant, Our Lady of Holy Cross Convent, and most recently at Cardinal Nursing & Rehabilitation.

Sandy was a devoted mother, and is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (Joseph) Borton of South Bend; four grandchildren, who brought her great joy, Wade Fuller, Dillon Sweet, Haley Roth and Allen Burger; two sisters, Dorothy (John) Payne of Rockville, Maryland, and Susan Davis of South Bend; and three brothers, Tim (Sue) Davis of Mishawaka, Richard Davis and Jim Davis, both of South Bend.

Sandy found her inspiration and strength to care for her family from Jesus. She could always be counted upon by her loved ones for whom she made any possible sacrifice. Jesus called our hero home where she can finely rest, be at peace, and be filled with joy.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Welsheimer Family Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Garden Cemetery, Osceola, IN. Friends may visit with the family 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
