Robert Charles Crofts

SOUTH BEND - Robert C. Crofts, 60, of 1329 Belmont St., died at 3 a.m. today in his home after an illness. Mr. Crofts retired in 1984 from Robertson's Department Store and was employed by Dodge Division of Reliance Electric Co., Mishawaka for 16 years.
He was born Jan. 10, 1935, in South Bend. On July 27, 1957, in Mishawaka, he married Elfrieda Brenner. She survives with a daughter, Cynthia Adams of South Bend; a granddaughter; and a sister, Mary Lee Crofts of Waltham, Mass.
He was a member of Masonic Lodge 294 and Scottish Rite Valley of South Bend.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Bubb Funeral Chapel North, 3910 N. Main St. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
