Ralph Louis Kronewitter

Ralph Louis Kronewitter, 88, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away at 9:35AM on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Bell Tower, Granger, Indiana, surrounded by his loving family. Ralph was born on September 28, 1935, in South Bend, Indiana to the late Eugene and Irene (Felty) Kronewitter. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Rose (Porter) Kronewitter in 2023; son, Mark Kronewitter in 1992 and his brother, Father Frank Kronewitter in 2006.

Ralph is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Michele and Fred Singleton of Granger; his sons, Mike Kronewitter of Elkhart and Matt Kronewitter of Osceola; his cherished eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren who were the delight of his later years; and his caring sisters, Charlotte Wolz of South Bend and Mary (Dale) Stastny of Iowa.

Ralph worked as an accountant. He was an avid Notre Dame football fan.  Family was at the center of his world, and the times spent with loved ones were the moments he treasured most. Ralph’s memory will be honored through the cherished stories of his family and the laughter of his grandchildren.

A memorial service to celebrate Ralph Kronewitter's life will be held at 4:30 pm on Monday, March 25, 2024, at Palmer Funeral Home - Bubb Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, IN. Friends are invited to visit with the family after the service from 5:00-6:00pm at the funeral home. Ralph really loved birthday celebrations so we welcome all to join us from 6-8pm for sandwiches and ‘birthday’ cake.
