Walter E. Myers

Walter was born to Jay and Isa Myers and was graduated from John Adams High School in South Bend.
He worked for Marshall Fields in Chicago for 37 years, delivering stock to the store departments and he retired in 2000 and moved to Plymouth.
Wally was an avid reader and book collector. Being a religious man, he knew the Bible inside and out and attended Immanuel Lutheran Church. In his younger years, he enjoyed camping. Never owning a car, Wally walked everywhere. He enjoyed his frequent trips to his nephew's barber shop and visiting his friends at McDonalds in Plymouth.
Wally is survived by his sister, Ila Biggs of Ft. Wayne, numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings: Earl, Harry, Jay and Neola.
