SOUTH BEND - Carroll A. Gould, 74, of South Bend, IN, passed away at home under hospice care Wednesday, January 27, 2010, after a two year battle with cancer.
She was born on September 13, 1935 to the late Melvin and Eva (Sword) Neiter in South Bend, IN, and lived most of her life in South Bend. Along with her parents; one son, Terry Baird; and one sister, Rosemary Davis also preceded her in death.
Ms. Gould was retired from the Bendix Corporation, where she worked as an office supervisor.
She is survived by two daughters, Leanne (Rusty) Campbell of Largo, FL; Julie (Rod) Bouchard of Flowery Branch, GA; one son, Michael "Mickey" (Cheryl) Baird of Buchanan, MI; three grandchildren, Robert and Aaron Schwarz, both of Florida; Rhianan Baird of Buchanan, MI; six great-grandchildren; and one brother, Jon Neiter of South Bend, IN.
Memorial Services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 30, 2010 at Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, IN, where friends and family may gather one hour prior to services.
