Thomas D. Stanton, Sr., 79, of Granger, died Monday, March 23, 2015 at St. Joseph Medical Center. The South Bend native was born May 10, 1935 to John E. & Selma (Buck) Stanton, who have preceded him in death.
Tom had retired as the owner of K&L Machine Mfg. and was a member of Club 15 in Mishawaka; he was an avid Notre Dame fan and enjoyed playing golf & bowling. Tom is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Stanton and their children, Thomas D. (Laurie) Stanton, Jr. of Osceola, Kimberly (Rick) Kline of South Bend, John (Debbie) Stanton of Granger and Lynn (James) Dodd of Mishawaka; his brother, Richard (Esther) Stanton of South Bend; 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Private service arrangements were made through Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Hwy.
