Mary Lynn Potter

Mary Lynn (Whitman) Potter, formerly of South Bend, died on February 4, 2006, at her home in Aurora, Ohio, following a 22-year battle with cancer.
Known as Lynn, she was a graduate of John Adams High School, Miami University and Manhattan School of Music. A resident of Aurora for 38 years, Lynn was a piano teacher. She was also active in the Aurora Community Theatre, serving as accompanist for 35 annual musicals. Other interests included memberships in a variety of charitable organizations, jazzercise and hiking. In 2001 she and her husband hiked the Grand Canyon rim to rim.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Phil of Aurora; a son, Philip of Mantua, OH; a daughter, Susan Radcliff (John) of Cleveland; three grandsons, Johnny, Colin and Brandon Radcliff of Cleveland; and a brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Kris Whitman of South Bend.
Burial was in Aurora on February 9, 2006.
