Michael V. CURRAN, 55, Rt. 6 (west Ninth Street), Rochester, died at 7:45 a.m. today in Levis, Quebec, Canada, shere he was vacationing with his wife, Marilyn [CURRAN].
Arrangements are pending at the Foster & Good Funeral Home, Rochester.

Michael V. Curran
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Foster & Good Funeral Home, Rocheter, for Michael V. CURRAN, 55, Rt. 6 (West Ninth Street), Rochester. Mr. Curran died at 7:45 a.m. Tuesday in Levis, Quebec, Canada, about 15 miles from Quebec, after suffering an apparent coronary while driving his car. He and his wife, Marilyn [CURRAN], were vacationing when Mr. Curran became ill.
Father Ken BOHLINGER will officiate the services, and burial will be in the Rochester I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m., and on Saturday for an hour before services.
Mr. Curran was born Oct. 15, 1931 in South Bend to James and Marie STRAUB CURRAN. He moved to Rochester 23 dyears ago from South Bend. On Oct. 27, 1951 in South Bend he married Marilyn J. JOHNSON. He had been a claims manager for American States Insurcnce Co., in Rochestr for 23 years.
Surviving with the wife are a daughter, Colleen CURRAN, Rochester; a son, Kevin [CURRAN], Indianapolis; a granddaughter, Michelle [CURRAN], Indianapolis; two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Genieve) PATTRSON and Mrs. Robert (Margaret) NEMETH, both of South Bend, and two brothers, James [CURRAN], Highland, and Paul [CURRAN], South Bend. Preceding in death were a son, Tim [CURRAN] , on April 3, 1977, a brother, John [CURRAN], in 1986, and a sister, Patricia TOBIN.
