Susan R. Bowman, 86, of Fort Wayne passed away at 11:50 A.M. on Friday, November 20, 2020. Susan was born to the late Richard and Marion (Dalton) Robertson in July 28,1934 in South Bend, IN.
In March 1963, she married D. Chuck Bowman who preceded her in death in July, 1984. She retired from the South Bend School Corporation after 33 years of teaching. Susan gave back to her community by volunteering in many local charities like, Antiquarian Society, Junior League, St. Joseph County Scholarship Fund and Children’s Dispensary.
She was a member of Delta Gamma.
She is survived by her children, David (Cara) Bowman; three grandchildren: Andrew, Rebecca and Ashley Bowman. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Amy D. Bowman and her sister, Annette Robertson.
Services for Susan will private for the family with burial at Riverview Cemetery. The family will be having a celebration of life for Susan in the Spring.
