Mahlon B. Modesitt, 82, of N. Fort Myers, Florida passed away September 3, 2008. He was born September 5, 1925 in South Bend, Indiana the son Morrie and Nora (Booher) Teger.
He served in the United States Navy during WWII. He belonged to Grace Methodist Church where he was involved with the children's ministry. He enjoyed computers and working with the children at the church. He was an active bowler and enjoyed the theater very much.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory, 2 children, Matthew (Cindy) Modesitt of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Tina (Mike) Hoeft of Bloomingdale, New Jersey, and 4 grandchildren Myla, Kristine, Brian, and Jessica.
Visitation will be on Saturday from 2-4 PM at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Sunday at 3:30 PM at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mahlon's memory may be made to the Children's Ministry of Grace Church.
