William H. Sippel 

ROVER BEACH — A funeral service will he at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Marshall-Spoo Sunset Funeral Chapel in Grover Beach for Harris Sippel, 70, of Grover Beach. The Rev. Randy Ouimette of St. John's Lutheran Church in Grover Beach will officiate. Burial will follow in Arroyo Grande Cemetery. He died Oct. 14. 1995, in a San Luis Obispo hospital. Mr. Sippel was born April 20. 1925, in South Bend, Ind.

He moved to Glendale in 1959 from Osceola, Ind. Mr. Sippel relocated to San Luis Obispo County in 1979 from Canyon Country. He attended St. John's Lutheran Church in Grover Beach. Mr. Sippel built model race cars and wrote for several model car magazines during the 1960s.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years Mary C. Sippel of Grover Beach: sons William H. Sippel Jr. of Durango, Colo.. and Paul E. Sippel of San Luis Obispo: one granddaughter: one great-granddaughter: sister Marjorie Dare of Escondido: and one cousin.

Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Memorial contributions may he made to St. John's Lutheran Church Building Fund, 1830 Farrell Road. Grover Beach. CA 93433
