DOUGLAS ROBERTSON OBITUARY

DOUGLAS D. ROBERTSON

Left us early in the morning of July 19, 2007. He did so graciously and with dignity, as he lived his life. He was born in South Bend, IN, leaving at age 18 to begin a long career of service to his country; first in the US Navy, then as a tax lawyer and later as a counselor for USAID in Washington, DC and abroad.

Over the course of his life, he lived and worked on all seven continents, doing the best he could to leave each a little better than he found it. He will be missed by friends and family around the world. We will all be a little poorer without him.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Luz Marina; his sons, Douglas Jr. and Ian; and his daughters, Jana and Janet; and five beautiful grandchildren. An inurnment at Arlington National Cemetery is schedule for Wednesday, September 26,2007 at 2 p.m.
