William C. Roberts 

William C. Roberts, of Point Pleasant, died Saturday at home. He was 71 years old. He was an office manager for John Hancock Insurance Co. in Hackensack, Trenton and Lakewood for 37 years, retiring in 1987. From 1975-1976, he served as exalted ruler for the Point Pleasant Beach Elks Lodge 1698. He served in the Navy daring the Korean War. Born in South Bend, Ind., he lived in North Bergen before moving to Point Pleasant 44 years ago.

Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Mildred Yandola Roberts; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Russell Ralph and Patricia of Bordentown and Christopher William of Escondido. Calif.; a brother. Carl of Phoenix; and a granddaughter. Megan Roberts.

Arrangements are by Shore Memorial Home, Point Pleasant Beach.
