MARY LOU (SWANK) MINKOFF

Sept. 8, 1930 - June 22, 2007
SOUTH BEND - Mary Lou Minkoff, 76, of Lafayette, died at 12:07 p.m. Friday, June 22, in St. Elizabeth Medical Center. She was born on September 8, 1930, to the late Raymond and Thelma Dawson Swank. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Morgan Liane Hay.

She lived in Lafayette since 1963, coming from South Bend.

She graduated from John Adams High School in South Bend and attended Ball State University. She assisted her husband in operating Gluck's Ladies Apparel for 20 years from 1964 to 1984.

On August 11, 1963, in South Bend she married Ted S. Minkoff, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Michelle Hay (Mark) of Monticello; son, Randy Brehmer (Kathy) of Noblesville; a sister, Barbara Sellers of Battle Creek, MI; four grandchildren, Lyndsi Frank (Ryan) of Chciago, Joshua Brehmer, Andrew Hay and Mallory Brehmer, all of Indianapolis; and several nieces and nephews. She was devoted to her family.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, with Rabbi Audrey Pollack officiating. Burial will be at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday in the chapel. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Condolences may be sent to www.soller-baker.com.
