Gerald Cleo Weinberg

Jerry was born in South Bend, Indiana, and attended Indiana University.

He was preceded in death by his father, Cleo Weinberg; mother, Elsie Weinberg; brother, Thomas Weinberg and sister, Sue Wright.

He is survived by his brother, Richard Weinberg; nieces, nephews and their families.

Jerry joined the staff of the Muscular Dystrophy Association as Campaign Assistant in 1957. He worked in several different areas of the organization during his almost 55-year career. In July 2006, Jerry was named President & CEO of MDA, an office he held until his retirement from the Association at the end of 2011.

A Celebration of Life Service will take place next month. In lieu of flowers, please consider sending a donation in Jerry's memory to Pima Animal Care Center or The Community Food Bank of Southern AZ.
