MISHAWAKA - Norman Lee Burke, was born June 6, 1931, to Leonard Burke and Audrey Smith. He passed away January 25 at St. Joseph Regional Med. Ctr. at the age of 85.
He married Marilyn “Lynn” Robbins on Nov. 1, 1952 and spent his life in the area. Surviving are his wife, Lynn; a son, Mark; daughter, Kelly (Kirby) Brownfield; two grandchildren, Ryan DeLong and Brittany Sili and two great granddaughters, Audree and Lily. Also surviving are his siblings, Shirley (Chuck) Eaton, Larry (Sue) Burke, Jaynee (Jim) Halterman and Neil Burke.
Norm was a commercial artist until retiring at the age of 62. His life was filled with love for his family and sports.
There will be no viewing per his request. He'll be missed dearly by his family, the old timer ball players and friends at Ft. Myers Beach.
Hahn Funeral Home, Mishawka is in charge of handling the final arrangements.
