Gerald Wallace Freels

Gerald “Jerry” Wallace Freels of Independence, Mo, passed away July 10, 2016 at the age of 85. Jerry served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and later retired from General Motors, Leeds Plant in 1991. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Raynal Marie Freels, his daughter Jeri Lee Grove, sons Kirk Gentry Freels and Michael Lowel Freels and a sister Gayle Pettit of Sun Lakes, Az. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

There will be a private graveside service for family in Higginsville, Mo. Honorary pallbearers will be; grandson Joshua Gerald Freels Grove, great-grandsons Aiden Henry, Derek Henry, Codie Herring, Dawson Hunt, Brandon Salley, Brien Salley, Brittien Salley, Bryce Salley, Sean Standeford and great-great-grandson Andre Fortner.
