Artie Janice Bussert, 90, residing in Mishawaka, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022, at Golden Living Center - Fountainview.

Artie was born on October 27, 1931, in South Bend, Indiana to Jones Harrison Grant and Marie T. (Bauer) Grant, who preceded her in death.

On October 7, 1951, in South Bend, she was united in marriage to Loren M. Bussert, who preceded her in death on May 17, 2010.

Artie is survived by her daughters, Janice Bussert of Mishawaka and Rebecca Bussert of Black Mountain, North Carolina; her grandchildren, Amy (Aaron) Bell of Asheville, North Carolina, Joe (Elina) Peters of Asheville, North Carolina, Brice (Guadalupe) Boembeke of Urbana, Illinois, and Christopher Bussert of Black Mountain, North Carolina; and her four great-grandchildren, Maxwell, Amelia, Michael, and Rhylan.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Patsy Grant; her brother, Gary Grant; and her son-in-law, Bruce Boembeke.
