SOUTH BEND - Dee 'Punky' Seaman - Born in South Bend, In. on March 25, 1931 to Walter and Sophie Kint. Resident of Granger, In since 1957.

Graduated from John Adams High School in 1949.

She married Ralph Seaman on December 16, 1950 who predeceased her on June 11, 1981.

Survivors include her three children and six grandchildren. Murray and wife Kathy and their children Matt, Rachel and Ben of Colchester, VT; Mona and husband Denny and son Sam of Santa Claus, IN; and Shawn and wife Cindy and children Drew and Nicole of Scottsdale, Az. Three sisters and brother-in-laws - Betty (deceased) Houghton and husband Bob of Hemet, Ca. Sharon Dolan and husband Bill of Springhill, Fl. Sandi Castleman and husband Dave of Granger, In.

Predeceasing her were her husband Ralph, daughter Kathleen, parents Walter and Sophie Kint, In-laws Arthur and Rena Seaman, brother-in-laws Bill Seaman and Peter Damianakes, and sister Betty Houghton.

The family would like to express their thanks to Sandi and Dave Castleman, Kathy and Brad Armour, and Diane Holzhausen for their support and care of their mother.

She was a life member of VFW Post 360, past president of VFW 624 Club in Roseland, member of the American Legion 161 in Mishawaka, member of the Mishawaka Moose Club, member of Mishawaka Eagles 2083 Club, member of the Memorial Hospital Club and member of the Clay Democratic Club. She loved family ski vacations in Colorado and travelling to Las Vegas to gamble and enjoy the night life. She was frequently found enjoying friend's company and dancing at the many clubs she was involved in as well as other local restaurants.

The family will meet and greet friends Friday from 9:30-11:00am followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00am in McGann Hay Funerals | Cremations | Gatherings, Granger Chapel, 13260 SR 23 (enter off Cherry Rd.), Brother Ed Erskine, Pastor of Norway Church of Christ, officiating. Her ashes will be interred at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. Donations may be made to the Healthwell Foundation P.O.
