Freddy attended Adams High School and served two years in the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam as a cook. He spent most of his career as a cook and retired in 2004. Freddy was everyone's friend, and loved his family and friends. He would laugh at most anything, and would put a smile on your face. Freddy was always the first to send out Christmas cards, and never forgot any one's birthday or anniversary; he was so very thoughtful of all his family and friends. Freddy was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Friends may visit with the family Monday, August 29, from 3 to 7 p.m. in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.

Fred's family sends a very special thank you to his close friend Mary and his extended family of caregivers, Diane and Dee, whom he loved so much. Freddy was blessed to have the love and support of the personnel at Dungavin. The family wishes to thank all of them for the support they gave to Fred and his family. We don't know what we would have done without them. God bless them!
