Lynne Austin, 66, our loving mother, grandmother, sister and best friend, passed away Friday, Feb. 15, 2008, at a hospital.

Celebration of life: 1 p.m. Wednesday in Brown, Owens and Brumley's Joe B. Brown Memorial Chapel, with Dr. J.H. Ramsey officiating. Visitation: The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Lynne was born Dec. 20, 1941, to the late Eugene and Therese Colle in South Bend, Ind.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 31 years, Stewart Austin, who passed away in 1993; and five children.

Survivors: Daughters, Jennifer Sims and Kimberley Austin; son, Eugene Austin and wife Connie; grandchildren, Joshua, Antonio, Derien, Amanda, Sandra and Shelby; great-grandchild, Alex; and sister, Jeane Siiburg.
