I have warm memories of Howard as a quality person and all-around good guy. Although I lost track of him over the years, I'm sure he had a rich life, and I wish his family well.

I was proud to consider Howard a friend as a kid. We did go our separate ways as we went to college and then the cold cruel world. I knew his family and still see his brother Bob occasionally. Howard was intelligent and kind as well as fun to be with. May his memory be for a blessing.
