IN MEMORIAM

DONALD GRAY April 16, 1943 - February 2, 1960

Is death the last sleep? No, it is the last and final awakening. - Walter Scott.

Although research has made great strides in the medical field there are still many secrets of health and disease that man has not yet discoverd. A concentrated effort is now being made in the field of leukemia research, but a cure is yet unknown. Man can only stand by helplessly while his loved ones are taken from him. Leukemia took the life of Donald Gray because we had not learned enough to help him. Don was the son of Mr. and Mrs. George A. Gray of 1402 McKinley Avenue. He was a student in the junior class at John Adams High School and was a member of the "B" basketball team last year. He was an Explorer Scout in Post 505 of Saint Joseph's parish, and a carrier for the Tribune.

The John Adams faculty and student body express heartfeld sympathy to the members of the Gray family.
