Martha Elizabeth Wheeler

Martha ''Marty'' E. Wheeler, 45, of Conneaut, Ohio, died unexpectantly at her residence Saturday.
Marty was born in South Bend, Ind., Nov. 14, 1950, the daughter of Harold G. and Wilhemina (Ponader) Hamilton.
She was a graduate of John Adams High School, Class of 1969 in South Bend, Ind. She came to Conneaut in 1981 from New Hampshire. She was formerly employed by the Conneaut Shores Golf Course, the Convenient Store and for the past ten years as a dispatcher with the Conneaut Police Department. She enjoyed cooking, bingo, reading and collecting Pigs. She was also a member of the Conneaut Moose Club and was a Methodist in her religion.
She is survived by her mother, Phyllis C. Hamilton, of South Bend, Ind.; two sons, Mathew J. Wheeler, Norfolk, Va., Justin H. Wheeler, Ft. Meyers, Va.; one daughter, Alison C. Wheeler of Cleveland, Ohio; three sisters, Tina A Wise, Lakewood, Colo., Julie Johnson, Kersey, Colo., Patti Wilkinson, South Bend, Ind. and one grand-daughter Kaylyn Wheeler.
She was preceded in death by her father and birthmother.
Calling hours will be held today from 2 to 4 p.m. (EST) at the Raisian Funeral Home, 581 Harbor St., Conneaut, Ohio. Funeral services will take place at 4 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Michael Grant officiating. Interment will take place in St. Joseph's Valley Cemetery, South Bend, Ind.
