Helen L. Grover, 78, of North Russell Ave., Mishawaka, IN, passed away at 2:15 a.m. Monday June 3, In her son's residence.
Helen was born in Mishawaka on May 29, 1924 and was a lifelong area resident. She retired in 1987 from 1st Source Bank where she was employed as a bank teller for 18 years. On July 4, 1942 in Kendallville,IN Helen McKinney married Richard H. Grover who passed away Oct. 19, 1975.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Ruth (Kesler) McKinney Sr.; and by a daughter, Alice Price in 1998, She is survived by two daughters, Beverly Reed and Debra Richmond (Tom Nowak) both of South Bend; three sons Richard A. (Melanie)Grover of Bremen IN, Don E.Grover (Amber Greer) and Kenneth (Karen) Grover, both of South Bend; 23 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and 7 step grandchildren; two sisters, Esther Newcomer of Riverside CA, and Betty Ellinger of Kingman AZ,and by a brother Harry "Bud" Mckinney Jr, of Mesa AZ.
Services will be at 11 am Wednsday at Bubb Funeral Home where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM today. Rev. Gary Hinkel will officiate the service. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola IN.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County.
