SOUTH BEND - Bradley J. Jordan, 42, of 1413 Cedar St., died at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph's Medical Center after an illness.

Mr. Jordan was a firefighter with the South Bend Fire Department for the past six years. He formerly worked in the General Motors plant in Flint, Mich. He was born Sept. 3, 1952, in South Bend, and was a resident of this area most of his life.

On Feb. 17, 1994, in Mishawaka, he married Cheryl J. Wills. She survives, with two daughters, Melissa Jordan of Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, and Amy Jordan of Montrose, Mich.; two stepsons, Todd Wills of Bloomington, Ind., and Eric Wills of South Bend; his mother, Lucille Jordan of South Bend; two sisters, Jill Metcalf of South Bend, and Julie Walstrom of California; and two brothers, Scott and Todd, both of California.

He was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Ridgedale Presbyterian Church. Cremation will take place. Friends may call one hour before services Friday in the church. Hollis-Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Cancer Society or Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc.
