WARSAW - Kenneth E. Menzie, 73, passed away unexpectedly at 6:05 PM Monday, Dec. 2, 2013, in his daughter, Darlene's, Warsaw home. He was born Dec. 21, 1939, to Kenneth & Elsie Menzie. A 1958 graduate of John Adams High School, he served in the United States Air Force. Ken was first married to Joyce Barson; then to Nancy VanDenHandel who predeceased him.

He was employed by Elixir Industries, retiring from its Elkhart facility in 2007 after 30 years of service.

Survivors: Son: Donnie (Judy) Menzie, Mishawaka; 3 daughters: Dianne (Jerry) Szmanda, South Bend, Darlene (Jim) Krallman, Warsaw, Denise (Will) Van Scoyk, South Bend; 2 sisters: Terri Jo (Art Van Laecke) Niles, Marjorie (Mark) Stephenson, Georgia; mother: Elsie Townsend, Georgia; and 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

His stepfather, Donald Townsend, also predeceased him.

Visitation will be today, Dec. 6, 2013, 10 AM - 12 noon, TITUS FUNERAL HOME, 2000 E. Sheridan St., Warsaw, IN 46580. Services will begin at noon followed by burial at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw.
