Patricia Anne Perry, 60, our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, went home to be with the Lord at 1:04 a.m. on Monday, December 12, 2022, in Mishawaka, Indiana. Patricia, affectionally known as Patty, Trish, or Trisha, was born December 20, 1961, to David McCullem and Mary Louise Perry.

Born and raised on the Eastside of South Bend, the city she resided in for most of her life and where she graduated from John Adams High School. Patty confessed her faith in Christ early at Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church. Patty was a beautiful, loving, and caring person with a kind heart and a gentle soul. She always found and made time to help others and would give the shirt off her back if you needed it. This passion lead her to work as a professional caregiver. She looked after her sister Kita, her mother, Mary, and her favorite client, whom she had cared for over three years,  Anthony Panzica. And most recently, getting her brother Mike into assisted living. She loved socializing and was an avid fan of Mary J Blige and Janet Jackson. She also enjoyed dining at her favorite restaurants, Red Lobster, Olive Garden, and Popeyes.

Patty loved spending time with her daughter and grandchildren. Especially her only granddaughter, Ja'Niyah (her baby girl). She lived for her grandchildren and loved traveling to watch their sports activities. Patty loved the beach, boating on Lake Michigan, and traveling. She recently mentioned vacationing in  Florida with her daughter to celebrate her 61st birthday. She was a shopaholic who could never turn down a good deal on shoes, purses, perfume (her favorite), and jewelry.

Patricia is survived by her only daughter Shalonda (Terrence) Ford of Oshkosh, Wisconsin; five grandchildren, Darnell Williams Jr., Ja'Siah Williams, Damarion Williams, Ja'Niyah Ford, and Jaiden Ford, all of Oshkosh, Wisconsin. one sister, Joanne Jones of Battle Creek, Michigan; one brother Michael Paxton, of Mishawaka, Indiana.
