Larry “Peter” Weathers, age 66, departed this life on November 21, 2023. Larry was born on May 25, 1957, to the union of Claretha and Charles Weathers in South Bend, IN.

“Peter” went to Madison Elementary and graduated from John Adams Hish School. After high school, he worked at Big C Lumber for several years and worked in the factory for several more years.

“Peter” loved his family and loved to laugh and joke around with his loved ones.

“Peter” is survived by his mothers, Claretha Weathers; daughters, Meka Williams and Kimberly Taylor; brothers, James Weathers, Willie (Sue) Weathers, Charles Weathers, Darry Weathers, Melvin Weathers; and sisters, Norma (Tony) Coleman, and Betty Weathers.

Proceeded in death by farther, Charles Weathers; grandparents; brothers, Nathaniel “Bird” Weathers, Christopher Weathers, Robert Weathers, Tyrone Weathers, Kevin Weathers, and Kenny Weathers.

And also surviving is a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and colleagues to cherish “Peter’s” memory.

Memorial Service is 11am on Friday, December 1, 2023, in Saints Memorial Church of God in Christ 3215 Liberty St. South Bend, IN 46619 where family and friends may gather beginning at 10am.

Palmer Funeral Home – West Chapel 2702 Lincolnway West South Bend, IN 46628 is assisting the family with arrangements.
