Clayson Ernest Kaiser

Clayson Ernest Kaiser, 64, of East U.S. 12, Niles, Mich., passed away following an illness at 3:15 a.m. Friday, Aug. 8th, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend, Ind.
He was born Oct. 27, 1938, in Mishawaka, Ind., to Robert and Stella (Scott) Kaiser, who preceded him in death. On June 25, 1960, he married the former Carolyn Reed, who survives. He is also survived by three children, Donald Kaiser of South Bend, Joseph (Tina) Kaiser of Niles and Debra (Tom) Borsodi of South Bend; three grandchildren, Julieanne (Phillip) Carter of Virginia, Michael Kaiser of Niles and Justin Kaiser of South Bend; a brother, John (Margie) Kaiser of Oklahoma; and by a sister, Carol Ann (Mike) Balasa of California.
Mr. Kaiser was a retail counselor for Roundy’s in Westville, Ind., and had worked for them for 39 years. He was a founding member of the River Valley Community Church, Mishawaka. He was also very active in the church and led a Bible study group.
Funeral services for Mr. Kaiser will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in River Valley Community Church. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, and one hour prior to the services in church on Monday. Burial will follow the services Monday at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, Ind.
