Carolyn Mae Wilson Coplen, age 87 of Kodak, formerly of Sevierville, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021. She was a member of Murphy’s Chapel United Methodist Church, and was active in the local girl scouts and PTA organizations and loved square dancing. She was a retired registered nurse from Sevier County Hospital and the Sevier County Health Department.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Delois “Bud” Coplen; father, Otis M. Wilson; mother, Mildred R. Wilson; brothers, Richard M. Wilson, and Thomas Wilson.
Survivors include her son, Carl Coplen (Debbie); daughter, Jean Webb (Bee), Karen Miller (Dennis); grandchildren, Courtney Mizer, Bradley Webb, Taylor Coplen, Jami Moore, Dustin Moore, Matt Miller; great-grandchildren, Gavin Mizer, Addie Fugatt, Aiden Fugatt, Avery Webb; Harper Hawkins, Henley Moore, Jackson Miller, Laney Miller; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jim Coplen (Karren), Tom Coplen, David Coplen (Addie); sisters-in-law, Nila Gerhold, Marilou Wilson; many special friends, retirement friends, neighbors, and Clover Hill Community
