SOUTH BEND – George Phillip Roeger, 53, of New York City, formerly of South Bend, died March 27 in his home after an illness.
Mr. Roeger was an artist. He was born May 13, 1937, in Muncie and lived in South Bend as a child. He is survived by his mother, Mabel McCreery of Muncie; a sister, Betty Miller of Indianapolis; and a brother, Johnny of Minneapolis.
He was a graduate of Adams High School.
Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Friday in Meeks Mortuary Chapel, Muncie. Cremation has taken place.
Memorial contributions may be made to any charity.
