Nancy Jane Strong, 65 years old, passed away at 7:10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 21, 2018, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth, IN.   Nancy was born on October 7, 1952 in South Bend to the late Samuel Harrison and Violet (Brothers) Glassburn.  She has been a resident of Plymouth for the past 32 years.  On March 6, 1971 in South Bend, Nancy was united in marriage to Gary W. Strong.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Gary W. Strong, Sr.; two sons, Gary W. (Amy) Strong  and Jason J. Strong, both of Koontz Lake, IN; three grandchildren, Jake, Matt and Hannah; two sisters, Violet McKenna of Culver and Christine Glassburn of North Liberty; and one brother, Roy Glassburn of Kokomo, IN.  Along with her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by three sisters, Eva Rogers, Gail Glassburn and Mary Sharpe; and four brothers, Ralph, Vic, Vern and Jerry Glassburn. 

Friends may visit with the family from 1:00-7:30 p.m. (EST) on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at the Koontz Lake Association Clubhouse in Walkerton, IN to celebrate Nancy’s life.   Palmer Funeral Home-Lakeville is assisting with arrangements.
