Susan Reed McGonigal

MISHAWAKA - Susan Reed McGonigal, 59, passed away peacefully in her home on March 22, 2013, surrounded by her loving family.
Born August 18, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Jack Anthony and Beverly J. (Fothergill) Reed. Susan was a 1971 graduate of John Adams High School.
On January 11, 1992, Susan married Sean G. McGonigal. He survives along with their daughter, Chelsea R. McGonigal, both of Mishawaka; brother, Jack Anthony "Tony" (Marje) Reed of Oak Park, IL; and several nieces and nephews.
For thirty-five years Susan excelled as a Senior Administrative Assistant in the Sports Information Dept. at the University of Notre Dame. She was an honorary member of the ND Monogram Club, and one of the founding members of the Bus of Us Girls Club. She will be greatly missed by her family and many, many friends.
Memorial services will be held at a later date both here in the South Bend area and at Klinger Lake, where she enjoyed many summers water skiing, boating, and visiting with family and friends.
