George Westfall Sr.

George Westfall, Sr., 71 of Berrien Springs, MI passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at his home. George was born January 29, 1950 in St. Joseph County IN to James & Betty (Alberts) Westfall Sr.

He graduated from Adams High School in 1968.

On June 26, 1981, he married Denise Coultas in South Bend, IN. George was a chef for Ice House Restaurant in South Bend. George enjoyed fishing, camping, and cooking, especially his chicken and dumpling soup which he made for the St. Joseph Police Department and for the press box staff at the Berrien Springs football games--they called him Mr. Soup. George also loved spending time with his family and friends.

George is survived by his wife Denise Westfall; children George (Cassandra) Westfall, Jr., Ryan (Joyce) Westfall, Jeremy Westfall, Josh (Jennifer) Westfall and Aaron "Mikey" (Cayla) Westfall; 20 grandchildren; siblings James( Maureen) Westfall and Mary Joe (Rob) Jones; former wife Connie Fisher-Hesse; and daughter-in-law Amy (Stephen) Karanga.

George was preceded in death by his parents, brother Thomas Westfall and two grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Caring Circle Hospice. Per George's wishes cremation has taken place.
